Did you know? The United Methodist Church is in mission and ministry in over 125 countries. Our ministries include churches in all kinds of neighborhoods and communities in the United States, as well as in Central and South America, Africa, Asia, and Europe. We also support community centers, environmental projects, hospitals, schools, and colleges, as well as a major disaster relief organization called UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief). United Methodists in churches around the world provide basic support for their ministry and mission endeavors through a “World Service Apportionment”. This benevolence has been called “the primary mission responsibility” of every United Methodist Church.
