HANDBELL RINGERS WANTED!
We have begun a new handbell group at Bruen Chapel UMC and are looking for more members.
We have plenty of handbells (4 octaves!); so anyone who would like to join is most welcome.
This is an especially good opportunity for people who have sung in choirs, or played in bands or ensembles in the past, and would like to put the old music reading skills to use. We can help you learn to read your handbell part if you really want to play, but have not done anything in the music line before.
We want to have fun making music together, while also preparing pieces to share in worship.
Practice is after 11 am worship or shortly after noon on most Sundays. Come to worship, grab a snack, stay to ring. Maybe eventually, we’ll morph into a “Ring and Sing” group.
